Hello! I'm Dawn Phillips, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

I found my purpose in coaching others to live happier healthier lives through food, movement, and mindfulness. These processes aren't easy and I know first hand this journey is not linear. I decided to become a dietitian after struggling with my weight as a young adult. As I started reading about nutrition and fitness in magazines and books (these were pre-blog times!), I realized how much conflicting advice there was out there. I knew if I was having trouble sorting it all out, so were other people!

So I started on my journey to finding a scientific answer to how to eat right. After 10 years of study in nutrition and dietetics, exercise science, functional medicine and Ayurveda, what I have found is that there is no one size fits all protocol when it comes to health. Food and exercise is not a simple input equals output equation when it comes to the human body. Genetics, environment, mental health, health history... it all plays a role in how our body reacts to how we take care of it.
